This is the post where I have to say good bye to my first teammate for The Amazing Lace, the Trellis scarf from Interweave Knits Spring 2006. Our relationship lasted for about four weeks and we both agree that we have enjoyed each other's company. I finished the knitting last night and she spent the night blocking on the floor of my living-room. Here she is hot off the needles:

And here is a shot of the finished Trellis:

Her measurements are 205 cm x 27 cm. I knitted 4 extra pattern repeats for the extra length and I think I used approximately 3/4 of my 210 grams skein of Evilla Art-yarn in colourway A3.
Trellis has spent most of her time in the safety of my home, but a few weeks ago I took her on a train trip. Here she is enjoying the view:

I know I promised Trellis not to start the next lace project before she was done. Well, certain promises are a little hard to keep and the Icarus shawl was just a little too tempting.

Trellis is a little cross with me for not being faithful, but I think she has forgiven me since my knitting Icarus allowed her an extra week in daylight.

Trellis looks amazing! Those colours are fantastic! Good job, I’ll bet your relationship will, from now on, even get closer!

Trellis looks great - you’ll get a lot of wear out of that one!
